By Louis Knuffke, LifeSite News - During the podcast, Francis told a 22-year-old gender-confused Italian woman who calls herself “Giona” – a baptized Catholic in her 20’s who said she was “torn by the dichotomy between faith and transgender identity” – that “God loves us as we are.” The Pope’s words – which were released by Vatican News on Tuesday, July 25 – have been taken by the wider press as yet another gesture of acceptance toward LGBT advocates and rainbow ideology.

Catholic Culture - ... the Vatican’s “trial of the century,” the Vatican prosecutor has recommended an unprecedented seven-year prison sentence for Cardinal Angelo Becciu, for “many crimes against the patrimony of the Holy See.”... prosecutor, Alessandro Diddi, asked the Vatican tribunal to find ten defendants guilty of financial crimes, recommending prison terms of up to thirteen years. He also sought the confiscation of €415 million ($458 million) from the defendants—including €14 million from Cardinal Becciu.

The USCCB's 2021 annual financial statement reveals the bishops received over $67 million from "government contracts and grants" for "migration and refugee services."... Abp. Gustavo García-Siller of San Antonio, tweeted last year, "Banishment is not an option. Think about the homeless, migrants and refugees."
