Though anger can easily become a passion that consumes us, it is not inherently evil. As the Catechism explains, “The passions are natural components of the human psyche.” Indeed, St. Thomas Aquinas said, “Lack of the passion of anger is also a vice,” and quoted a document often attributed to St. John Chrysostom that said, “He sins who does not become angry when he has cause.” There is certainly much to be justly angry about in our world, and Christians must respond to evil and injustice with a holy anger that spurs us on to prayer and action.

With Western culture collapsing and many in the Church seeking to adapt the Lord’s teaching to the modern (and collapsing) age, we need to stand firm, not loose heart and actively resist notions that seek to set aside what the Lord has clearly taught... This is a time in the Church of testing.  That is to say we are all being tested to see what we are made of. Do we have the true faith? Or, are we the sort who merely hold the faith when it is convenient or expedient? In this collapsing Western Culture once known as Christendom, holding to the true faith is getting costly and, at times discouraging. ....

Reports of Voris’ ouster initially surfaced Tuesday morning. Three-and-a-half hours later, Church Militant released an official statement on X (formerly Twitter) which said Voris was “asked to resign for breaching the Church Militant morality clause.”
