And the reason is that the key questions have been answered with authority by the Author of Life Himself... What is truth? Who is man? Who are we? And where are we going?

By Charles Chaput, Public Discourse - It’s also a fact that (Pope Francis') overreliance on the Society of Jesus is unhealthy. He’s intolerant of even respectful disagreement. His manner can often seem mean-spirited. His complaints about the Church in the United States are insulting and uninformed, and they embarrass the dignity of his office. And–most regrettably–his ambiguity on matters of doctrine creates confusion and feeds division in the Church when we already have a surfeit of both. If saying these things is “disloyal,” then so is the truth.

By Dr. Jeff Mirus, Catholic Culture - (watching the Synod on Synodality it is interesting) to see such a preoccupation with listening and welcoming in the world, with so little attention to the proclamation of the Gospel. What we see so far is an emphasis on togetherness and inclusion, and a de-emphasis on the Gospel itself as the only firm basis for human solidarity... it is necessary to to stop worrying about both human feelings... and abstract ideas... There can be no unity without acceptance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
