Legislatures and pluralities of people in state after state voted in favor of marriage amendments that defined marriage as the union of a man and a woman… I can vividly remember how as few as seven to ten years ago, many people treated same-sex “marriage” as an absurd proposal, just one more outlandish idea cooked up by social progressives that would never get off the ground.
