By Roberto de Mattei, LifeSiteNews - In Christus Vincit, Bishop Schneider quotes this beautiful passage from St. Hilary of Poitiers, the Athanasius of the West: “In this consists the particular nature of the Church, that she triumphs when she is defeated, that she is better understood when she is attacked, that she rises up, when her unfaithful members desert her”. And, we might add, she triumphs when her faithful members fight for her.
By Tony Perkins, Family Research Council - If getting noticed was Beto O'Rourke's goal, he succeeded. Getting nominated, on the other hand, remains downright impossible. The Texas politician, who vowed to take Americans' guns, promised last Thursday to take something else: churches' tax-exempt status. In what even his own side is calling "the worst idea of the Democratic primary," O'Rourke stood out all right -- for all the wrong reasons.

On Tuesday, four female pro-life leaders unveiled “Life Empowers” as the theme for the 47th annual March for Life. It will take place on January 24, 2020… Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, noted the theme intentionally invokes the 100th anniversary of a women’s right to vote… “All of the early suffragists were pro-life,” said Mancini in an interview. “We want to educate about that this year in a particular way and show how being pro-life is being pro-woman.”
By Brian Fisher, The Stream - The abortion industry has taken its gloves off and come out swinging. It’s not just a political battle. It’s a clash of worldviews… It has its political side, no doubt. This past July, Planned Parenthood fired its new president because she wanted the organization to look like a legitimate health care provider. In reality, Planned Parenthood is an abortion business… Politicians also play politics with human lives. Every Democratic presidential candidate supports abortion on demand. They refer to abortion as a human right, and even “reproductive justice.”
