Complicit Clergy - Archbishop Jose H. Gomez, head of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) told colleagues on Tuesday that President-elect Joe Biden’s policy positions, including support for abortion rights, pose a “difficult and complex situation” for the church. In response, the USCCB has announced that it will form a “task force” to address policy by President-elect Joe Biden that contradicts Catholic teaching.  Just what we need: another meaningless task force that will give the appearance of doing something while accomplishing nothing.
