By Louise Merrie, Catholic Exchange - This Father’s Day, remember to thank priests for their gift of spiritual fatherhood. They have dedicated their lives to taking care of us spiritually through prayer, the Sacraments, teaching, spiritual counsel, and personal witness… A conversation I had this week with a senior priest friend provided an example of how priests exercise their spiritual paternity. He told me that the following day he planned to concelebrate the funeral Mass of a priest from our diocese, visit a person in prison, and bring Holy Communion to people in their homes who are sick. This is a typical day for many priests.
By Steven Ertelt, Micaiah Bilger, LifeNews - Illinois’s new pro-abortion law has drawn outrage from all across the country. It strips away all legal protections for unborn babies and allows them to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth… But Illinois is not alone… Eight other states also allow unborn babies to be aborted through all nine months of pregnancy and some have done so for years… The states are Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon and Vermont, along with Washington, D.C. This fact is confirmed by the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion research group and former arm of Planned Parenthood.

One bad apple? What about the large number of prelates who accepted his donations?

Deep breath, everyone… Men are men, and women are women, despite some people trying to will otherwise.
