By Kathryn Jean Lopez, The Stream - In so many ways, it really is that simple. Mother and child. New life. Expectation. Abortion isn’t a political issue; it isn’t a women’s issue. It’s about our basic humanity, the most precious resource there is... I haven’t gone in to ask, but I assume the people who run Hatch on Bleecker Street aren’t trying to make a bold pro-life statement in their window. But they couldn’t have a healthier message. Mama. By Shawn Carney, President, 40 Days for Life - Somehow, Ralph Northam is still the governor of Virginia... Abortion advocates rushed to defend Northam after he endorsed infanticide on a recent radio interview. But when racist photos from his medical school yearbook page hit the internet, even staunch supporters called for his resignation... The connection between racism and abortion is nothing new. After all, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was a notorious racist who even appeared at a speaking engagement for…the KKK.
