In testimony released on Monday, Rochester's Bp. Emeritus Matthew Clark admits under oath that he was aware of sexual abuse allegations against priests, who he nonetheless returned to active ministry after sending them to rehabilitation centers. Mitchell Garabedian, an attorney representing 94 sexual abuse victims suing the diocese of Rochester, says Clark's deposition, given in March, indicates Clark did shelter known pedophile priests.

Decades earlier he could foresee what might happen. And tried to reroute people... “The subject of this telecast is patriotism,” he told his 1960s TV audience. He titled the talk Quo Vadis, America? He tied the title into the story of Peter fleeing from persecution in Rome. Peter meets the Lord heading the other way and asks, Quo Vadis, Domine — Where are you going, Lord? — who answers, “I am going to Rome.”

By Fr. Shenan J. Boquet, Human Life International - “Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist, white woman.”... The statement was issued last month to raise concerns about the CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY), Laura McQuade (who has since been fired). In the statement, the employees expressed a litany of grievances against McQuade. But one of the charges is deeply ironic in light of the efforts Planned Parenthood has been making recently to show its support for the Black Lives Matter movement – namely that there existed a culture of “racism and anti-Blackness” at PPGNY under McQuade’s leadership.
