By Christine Niles, M.St. (Oxon.), J.D., Church Militant - Burke said, "There is no question that the Church is currently experiencing one of the greatest crises She has ever known," began the cardinal in his 45-minute talk… "The working document, the Instrumentum Laboris, that the special assembly of the synod of bishops for the Pan-Amazon is a frightening manifestation of the gravity of the situation," he continued… "The document in question constitutes an apostasy from the apostolic faith by its denial of the unicity and universality of the redemptive incarnation of God the Son."
Complicit Clergy - Pope Francis announced that the Pachamama idols that had been removed from the Church of Santa Maria in Traspontina and thrown into the Tiber earlier this week have been retrieved. He issued a formal apology stating, “As bishop of this diocese, I apologize to those who have been offended by this act.” He also suggested that the pagan idols would be present at the closing Mass for the Amazon Synod in St. Peter’s Basilica on Sunday…
For the first time since the idols appeared at the opening ceremony for the Amazon Synod, Pope Francis himself today confirmed the identity of the idols as the pagan goddess Pachamama.
By Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, National Catholic Register - We should be sad, but not surprised, if we recall the wisdom of the well-known maxim that the way people worship will determine what they believe (lex orandi, lex credendi). With the reforms of the Mass enacted half a century ago, many centuries-old practices meant to safeguard and reinforce belief in the Real Presence were suppressed, such as the Eucharistic fast from midnight and receiving Holy Communion kneeling, on the tongue, and only from the consecrated hands of a priest… Certainly, such a change in practice would have required a more robust catechesis in order to prevent a deterioration of faith; regrettably, instead, catechesis itself deteriorated right at this same time, and with similar rapidity.
By Charlie Butts, OneNewsNow - Lynda Bell of Florida Right to Life tells OneNewsNow it's wrong to leave parents in the dark… "Your child may have a special blood factor problem [or] there may be some other conditions that the abortionist does not know about," she argues. "You cannot get your ears pierced, you cannot get a tattoo, you cannot even get an aspirin from the school without parental consent – but you can have an abortion, a surgical abortion? I mean, this is crazy."
