By John-Henry Westen, LifeSiteNews - Cardinal Muller has been called by his detractors the "#1 enemy of the Pope" for issuing a “manifesto of Faith” that some say reads as a correction of Pope Francis. The former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has not stopped speaking out in defense of truths of the Catholic faith — now under assault from within — despite being asked to step down from his post by Pope Francis in 2017.
By Stacy Trasancos, St. Philip Institute of Catechesis and Evangelization - St. Thomas Aquinas said that truth resides in our intellect. That means we grasp truth in two ways. 1) We can know something is true because we observe it with our senses (usually sight) and grasp it with our minds. If you see a rock, then you know it is true that a rock is there because you see it with your own eyes. Knowledge refers to that which is familiar to us.
